Cruiser is Gaining Focus and Patience

Cruiser is a Golden Retriever here for one of our Board & Train programs. He came to us a very energetic, adrenalized boy. He has a very hard time calming down and is very easily distracted. He seems to notice any weird, out of place thing. On 3 separate training sessions with him, he has bolted off to see a plastic bag, a soccer net, and my favorite, a cow skull that someone had as a decoration in their front yard. He’s getting much better at focusing on the training rather than being distracted by the things around him. The video below is off our most recent off leash walk, with a couple of sit stays and a come thrown in.
