Meet the Pack

Bethany & Alan’s Pack:

MEMORIALS

Jake was Bethany’s first dog, she got him when she was only 14 years old. Jake was Bethany’s inspiration to become a dog trainer. Jake was a fun and intelligent dog. He knew many many tricks, knew agility, was awesome at fetch and catching frisbees. Jake was also a very difficult dog, with horrible human and dog aggression. Bethany knew she wanted to help him to become a more social dog, but the only way she could imagine helping him was if she knew exactly how to work with him, instead of hiring a trainer to work with him. Right after high school Bethany found Heather Beck and became certified as a dog trainer. After months and months of training, socialization, etc with Jake, he was able to become a happy, social and well rounded dog. He spent a good amount of his life helping Bethany with client dogs, teaching them how to be social like him. Bethany is very grateful for the time spent with Jake and the knowledge she earned from working with him. Jake crossed the rainbow bridge at the old age of 11 years old after struggling with hip dysplasia for a year. Rest in peace my sweet boy.
March 2003 – June 2014

Sasha was Bethany’s second dog. After falling in love with Jake, Bethany knew she needed to have another German Shepherd in her life. Sasha came into Bethany’s life December of 2007 as a sweet 8 week old puppy. Sasha was one tough puppy. She was extremely difficult to potty train and had some of the worst separation anxiety Bethany had ever seen. It took almost 2 years to help Sasha overcome her separation anxiety. Once she started understanding how to relax and not stress when alone, she became a much happier, healthier and well adjusted dog. She was an awesome and confident girl that loved to play with dogs and help Bethany train young dogs and puppies. She was excellent at teaching puppies proper socialization and boundaries. This was due to the fact that Sasha brought two beautiful litters of German Shepherd puppies into this world. She was a wonderful and excellent mother. She is the reason that Bethany has fallen in love with breeding dogs, and why Bethany has such a strong passion for breeding dogs properly. Bethany has learned so much from Sasha. They had an incredibly strong bond. There was something special about Bethany’s relationship with Sasha that no dog will ever share with Bethany. She is sorely missed. She passed on to the rainbow bridge at the young age of 6 after struggling with bone cancer for over a year. It was very very hard to let her go, but we are so happy she is in a better place and pain free. Until we meet again sweet girl…
November 2007 – June 2014
Ulrich was an amazing Berner stud of ours that passed away suddenly at the very young age of 4 1/2. He was an amazing dog who loved going on trial rides with us, soaking in the horse water trough after rides, laying around the house with the rest of our pack, getting hugs and snuggles from us and leaning on anyone who he considered a friend. We loved him dearly and he will be sorely missed.
